I used to despise people who sat and read all day like they had nothing better to do with themselves. After I read Stormbreaker I could finally understand this concept. It was like a whole new world was opened up to me, a world of books, one I had experienced before. From that day on I have excelled in school and became a frequent reader, therefore I strongly encourage everyone to read these books for enjoyment and your benefit.

I think ark angel is a amazing book but sometimes it is a bit complicated and boring. I read al six of them and i think skeleton key was the best. and there is a seventh coming out, Snakehead. i really wanna read that to see which is truly the best one.

The first few books of the Alex Rider Series are good but they repeat a lot of the vocabulary. I personally think Scorpis is the best and Ark Angel is the second. It just kinda has a sad ending to end the series and it kinda copies the other books. Other than that Anthony H. is a brilliant writer for all these spy and weapon stuff. WOOT

I thought that Ark Angel was a fantastic book! The book was an action packed and full of suspense. By reading the book I became more interested in books and spies. Anthony Horowitz is an amazing author and has so many wonderful talents that he was able to show it to the world. The Alex Rider series is a miniture version of James Bond, but there is no girls for Alex! Instead Alex's life is full of danger and I have a feeling there is more to come!
Barbra, girl, age 13, from California, United States, on 13th June 2006. Rating: 8/10
This was a great book! i love the action and suspence.... One thing about the series is that the books are all very similar. ALex gets caught but then escapes.... I still think the books were very exciting and well writen.

well for one. ark angel hasnt came to the USofA yet. i guess. and i have read all the books of the alex rider series + the gatekeepers book 1 of raven's gate. and theyre all quite interesting. and i cant wait until STORMBREAKER the movie comes out. i would like to see how they deal with the gadgets and every other thing imaginable. and i would say that Anthony Horowitz has a good point of stopping when Alex Rider turned 15. his birthday is on February 13. but i think Anthony Horowitz should go on and write more novels. but the other series are really cool too. interesting, mysterious, and adventurous.

I hate to criticize books, but this book has no originality - being far too similar to "Skeleton Key": Both Horowitz stories are set in the Carribean, with an extremely wealthy and caricatured villains (Drevin and Cray). Even the space hotel concept seems to have been copied from Dahl's Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator. This is Horowitz' sixth Alex Rider book, and far too similar to the rest of the series with Alex consistently being unwillingly forced to work for MI6 and in the end him almost dying. Quite a bad end to the series.

I really enjoyed this book from the start, and i hope ark angel isnt the last of the alex rider books. I hear that there might be another one comming out called zagros can anyone confirm this.Ark angel is one of the best out the series, a must read.

The book was the most exciting thing that i have ver read. Scorpia was suspenful throughout the stroy and grips the reader in every chapter. Anthony horowitz had made now another sucessful book. So big up to anthony once again

first i must say that Anthony horowitz i quite a good writer .His Alex Rider books are intresting but i found ark angle and scorpia a bit boreing they kind of repeat it self again and again. they have an air of melancholy about it. i think he should try a new aproch. good books getting old *

I love the entire series and I hope Horowitz writes more because he said he would stop writing after alex turned 15. Can you believe Ewan Mcgregor will be in the Stormbreaker movie! Ark Angel was good but was not even close to Scorpia.

Alex Riders final book is a pretty good if a bit cheesy book. The action is very well done and at a good pace but it seems to be a bit done before. Not as good as Scorpia(the best one) but still a pretty good book. 7.8/10

This book is brilliant, how Alex survives makes perfect sense but I never guessed it! I can't wait for the Stormbreaker movie to be released, I've heard in Australia it will be released in april of next year? I've read the whole series and want to read Raven's Gate when that comes out too, but I'm also waiting for Alex Rider 7, which I've heard rumours will be called Zagros?? I would reccommend this series to readers of all ages.

The Sixth and possibly last Alex Rider adventure is a fantastic read that left me turning the pages like they werent even there. Anthony Horowitz goes from one extreme to another in theis death defying topsy-turvy kalidascopic story thats sure to please readers of any age. Once again A.H. hasent let us down and hopefully he will continue with the good work!

If i had to describe this book in one word i would say TERRIFIC! I dont exactly go in for mi5/mi6 books but i just couldn't resist these amazing books. The first book was great the 2nd book was greater the 3rd book was even greater the forth book was super the fith book was amazing and the 6th book was Terrific! The diamond brothers books are sadly not as good since they are aimed at a slightly younger audience but these books are amazing. I am looking forward to the film so as long as it is very true to the book, which it is likely to be since isn't Antony Horowitz directing it?

I'd have to say that, looking at the negativity of one of the comments does not worry me. Alot of good series have relativity and it can be opinion of the reader. The book is due to come out around here April of 2006 and I've already been trying to get it from a source in the UK (the wait might kill me). His books have all been excellent so far and this will probably be another hop up my charts. So read away and enjoy it when you get a copy!

After reading both the latest Harry potter book and then arch angel in the space of two days I found myself automaticly comparing the two. Both seem to be aimed at the same target market but I feel Anthony Horowitz had created a character who is a lot more hard pushed to find his ways out of situations. Whilst Harry has the aid of magic; Alex is a character more down to earth, who merely has a few gadgets and his own skill to try and save the world. This can sometimes make the books more action- packed, more complex and more exciting!!

Where I am, this book hasn't come out yet, but i have been reading the series, and unless the author is slacking off on the sixth book... I am sure it will be as big a thrill as the five before it.

I hate to be negative about books, and should say now that I didn't finish this book. The reason I didn't finish this book is that after a good few chapters, the sense of deja vu was simply too overwhelming to continue. I'm willing to accept that the story may twist violently away from this, but I read Eagle Strike, an earlier book from the series, and the comparison between Drevin and Cray was simply too close for me to bear. I'd read this book before, had to keep checking the cover to make sure it was this book, and not Eagle Strike. This is not to say it isn't well-written, it certainly is, but reading the same story (or opening to a story, at least) drove me mad, and I gave up.
